Brr! It is chilly outside! With the colder weather coming in, I find myself spending more and more time inside. Just last night we turned on our gas fireplace for some extra warmth in our home. Besides bundling up, one of my favorite ways to warm up is with a nice hot beverage.
Speaking of hot beverages, Eight OClock Coffee has created 8 simple and delicious brew-it-yourself coffee recipes that can be made with a traditional coffee maker or with a Keurig brewer. CARAMEL ALMOND COFFEE RECIPE
Caramel and almond each go well with coffee, so why not have them both in the same cup? This tasty brew is delicious. I like to top it off with a little heavy cream.
Ingredients
tsp. almond extract per 6 oz. cup
1 Tbsp. ground Eight OClock Original or 100% Colombian Coffee per 6 oz. cup
1 Tbsp. caramel syrup per 6 oz. cup
Cream or milk optionalDirections: Add almond extract to the bottom of the pot, tsp. for each 6 oz. cup you brew. Brew normally. Stir caramel syrup into each cup and add cream or milk if desired.
