I love when I find a company that has taken a basic product idea, and improved it with their own unique spin. In this case the basic product being lip gloss and the unique spin being a lighted cap with mirror for easy application.
I tested this lighted lip gloss for the first time in front of my husband. When I asked him what he thought, he said the light was super cool. I was actually kind of surprised he was so intrigued by it. I actually thought he was going to brush off my comment with a easy-out like "pretty" or "cool, babe". Nope he went on about the light (never mind my sexy lips.)
He said he has always wanted something like this on his facial razor, so he can see exactly where he is shaving. He has always thought how handy a light would be (maybe whitening lightning wants to develop that too? If so, I call a 20% cut!) Joking kind of.
Anyway, I quickly realized he had a good point. While, I had never thought of it before, the light on the applicator WAS pretty handy. I could carefully apply my gloss to my upper and lower lips without leaving any of my lips dry, or going a bit overboard.
I tried the "crystal" which was a bronze shade and loved the smoothness and light color it gave to my lips. This lip gloss looked great on, but thats not all it was. This gloss contains collagen peptides that increase lip volume and reduce lip wrinkles. These collagen peptides speed up cell renewal to increase lip size safely and painlessly.
So, I didnt notice any crazy increase in lip volume, but I will say this lip gloss looks amazing on and comes in really handy when the lights are dim or I dont have a mirror handy. Cool product for sure.
