Who doesnt like a little bit of Ninja now and again?

I am sure that is what the founders of Le Ninja were thinking as they developed their collection of mostly American-made trendy tees in a range of cuts and colors. Ninjas are quick, strong and have strict rules of honor. They are somewhat of a status symbol for the average folk, like me, to observe and respect. Currently, Le Ninja has a basic line of graphic tee shirts for men and women but they are expanding into long sleeve tees, sweatshirts and hooded sweatshirts in 2013. In addition they will be adding a Le Ninja Toddler Collection geared for 2T through 6X. Right now though, their graphic tee shirts include V-neck, crew, scoop styles in a variety of colors and washes. The faded wash boyfriend tees and the Swarovski crystal tees for women are my favorite of the Ninja looks! How great would they be paired with a mini skirt or skinny jeans?
My Experience

Okay, while I do love all the womens designs, when I first saw Le Ninja, immediately I thought of my husband. "Oh my gosh, he would love that Geek shirt!" And he does. He got to try out one of Le Ninjas newest designs, Geek Is In. It is a fashionable tee that pronounces just how hip and cool geeks can be. (Hey, remember it is the Ninja spirit to be proud of your gifts, talents and skills?) Well, one thing my husband is proud of and skilled at, is his nerdy nature.

So now he is claiming the geek within while sporting his Le Ninja tee shirt!

The Geek Is In tee comes in a stunning yellow color in the sizes S, M, L, XL and XXL. He typically wears a Large, and the Le Ninja shirt in Large fits well, but is probably on the small side. I would suggest ordering up in this mens shirt. The Geek Is In makes a great undershirt and goes well under sports coats, zip ups or just by itself when it gets a bit warmer outside! This trendy tee can be dressed up or worn while just kickin it!
The first thing we noticed about this tee something that is impossible to go un-noticed is the quality! The shirt is like holding a cloud. The Geek Is In tee is made of high quality, uber-soft material that is decadently comfortable on your skin. It is a cotton and polyester blend of amazing-ness. Not to mention the tee has a minimal and soft tag, so there is no bothersome tag itching at your neck! So soft, comfy and luxurious!

Never has it been cooler to be a geek!

Kandals Scented Organic Earth-Friendly Shoes Review

What is it that you look for in shoes? Is it the durability? The style? The brand? For me, my favorite kind of shoes are light weight, stylish and versatile. I am not a big sneaker person, I use sneakers for their main purpose working out but for everyday wear, I choose a flat casual shoe first, like the earth-friendly KANDALS shoes.

About KANDALS

KANDALS is a shoe company that is based out of San Diego and manufactures their products in Spain. They produce scented (strawberry, in case you were wondering), earth-friendly shoes that are made with premium, natural and eco-friendly materials.

Design

I love the look of these shoes. Right out of the box, I knew they were shoes that I would be wearing frequently with a variety of outfits. Skinny jeans, skirts and more, these flat soled shoes are very versatile to pair with many outfit changes. The grey color is a nice light, attractive color that works well with black, white and even splashes of color. The premium canvas fabric gives this shoe a casual and comfortable look.

Comfort & Fit

When I was done admiring the attractive style of the shoe, I slipped them right on my feet. Holy comfort batman! So this is what 100% green certified European cotton feels like? Heaven to my feet. The shoe is completely flexible and cushion-y, yet there is durability in the natural rubber sole.

Walking around in these shoes felt like I was on the clouds. I am sure this is due to the two canvas linings and the sponge layer in between the shoe insole and outsole. This makes the shoe uber-flexible and it just molds to your feet. When you walk, the shoe moves with you!

Sizing

I typically wear a 7.5 8 US. I ordered a 38 EU (7.5-8) since these shoes are not available in half sizes. They fit great! There is room for my toes and they are oh-so comfortable on my heel. Since KANDALS should stretch and mold to the shape of your feet, even if you are a half size, they should fit great. The shoes are a medium width, so if you are a half size, or have wider feet, it is recommended to order up. Oh, also they are in EU sizes, so dont let that confuse you. For example: if you wear a size 7, get a EU 37 (US 6.5-7) in KANDALS.

Scented Feature

So the shoes are scented not for solving stinky feet or odor problems, but for the fun of it. Their mission for this is simple: every time you wake up in the morning to put on your KANDALS, you get a fresh newness to your shoes. The scent is not perfumed on the fabric but dyed internally with the rubber sole prior to being assembled. My dog got a kick out of the scented shoes. Her sniffer was going nuts when I set them beside her, this could be a problem. (Note: Hide shoes from dog.) Personally, I wasnt a big fan of the scent, but my husband thought it was great. He compared it to a car air freshener. And I think he is right. So if you like your car to have that Strawberry Air Freshener smell youll be thrilled with the neat scented idea that is KANDALS!
Sustainable Yay Earth!

KANDALS partners with Trees for the Future, a non-profit. For every pair of KANDALS sold, a tree will be planted to aid deforested areas of lower income countries. Final Thoughts

Although I could do without the scent, I am completely in love with these shoes! They are so cute, so comfortable and so so so versatile! I love that they easily fold and bend so they can be slipped into my luggage easily. Im telling you, they are the ULTIMATE traveling shoe.

Big fur-lined boots, leggings and an oversized sweatshirt. That's my favorite outfit for the Fall and Winter seasons. I get to stay warm and comfortable, and still look cute! Samsung Galaxy SIII Phone Case by Urban Armor Gear

Ive had the new Samsung Galaxy SIII for almost a month now, but still didnt have a case for it. Luckily UAG (Urban Armor Gear) sent me two beautiful cases to review, and I couldnt be more thrilled. No seriously, these cases rock!

First of all, Urban Armor Gear is a company that has a tight niche. They solely focus on only three cell phone cases: iPhone 4/4s, iPhone 5 and the Samsung Galaxy SIII. They arent a huge mass retailer spitting out cases for every new phone that hits the market. I believe that because they only have these 3 phones in their line up, that there is more quality in their cases. Dont just take my word for it though, try them yourself!
The Samsung SIII phone cases on UrbanArmorGear.com come in 6 different color options, I have the 1x NAVIGATOR (white) and the 1x VALKYRIE (pink). Both are stunning. The white is practically the same color as my phone it looks so smooth, doesnt it?

The design of the phone case is patent pending. Its hard armored outer shell and silicone shock-absorbing interior core is very unique to prevent damage in the instance of impact. If it is dropped, the case design disperses the impact!
Based on what I heard about these cases toughness I was expecting a lot heavier and a lot bigger. BUT, I was pleasantly surprised by the small, thin and feather light case. It is just like a sleeve barely bigger than my phone. The case front is almost flush with my phone, there isnt a big lip, just high enough for a little protection. The style is rugged and tough, different from your typical phone case I love the design!

Lastly, the buttons are over-sized and easy to use. They arent hard to push, like past covers Ive had. The power and volume controls are easy to push down on with no struggle. The openings for the ports are wide enough for my headphones and for my charger too. Overall, I have no complaints with the design.

Monkey Bread Recipe with Caramel and Pecans

Monkey Bread has traditionally been made in a Bundt pan, but Ive seen it in jars, crock pots and just a standard cake pan. There is no wrong way to make Monkey BreadBUT out of all the tasty options this recipe is by far my favorite! Enjoy!

Caramel Pecan Pull-Apart Monkey Bread Recipe

Ingredients dough:

• 2 1/4 teaspoons instant active dry yeast
• 1 cups warm milk (110F to 115F)
• 4 tablespoons butter, softened
• cup sugar
• 2 eggs
• 2 teaspoons salt
• 4-5 cups all-purpose flour

Ingredients caramel coating:

• 1 cup packed brown sugar
• 1 stick (8 tablespoons) butter, cubed
• cup heavy whipping cream

Ingredients in addition:

• cup chopped Diamond pecans (or walnuts!)
• 1 cup sugar
• 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
• cup butter, melted

Directions:

1. In a large mixing bowl, mix 3 cups flour and salt. Add the butter, sugar, eggs and mix. In a separate bowl dissolve yeast in warmed milk. Combine all into the larger bowl. Beat on medium speed for 3 minutes. Slowly stir in remaining flour to form a firm dough. (Might not use it all).
2. Place dough on floured surface and turn it in the flour. Knead until smooth and round ball is slightly tough, about 5-7 minutes. Place dough in a lightly greased bowl (cooking spray works). Cover the bowl with plastic wrap until dough has doubled (about 1-2 hours).
3. While the dough is rising, make the caramel sauce! In a small saucepan, bring the brown sugar, butter and cream to a boil. Cook and stir until blended and melted. Pour 1/3 into a greased Bundt pan; sprinkle with half of the pecans. Set the rest aside.
4. When dough has risen, punch dough down and shape into approx. 40-50 balls. In a shallow bowl or pie pan, combine the sugar and cinnamon. Have the melted butter in another bowl close by. Dip balls into melted butter, and then roll in cinnamon and sugar mixture. If you run out of mixture, just make a little more and continue to roll.
5. Place half the balls (20-25) in Bundt pan; staggering the seams where the dough balls meet as you layer up. Then top with 1/3 caramel and pecans. Top with remaining balls. Cover and let rise until doubled, about 1 hour.
6. Bake at 350 degrees F for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown and caramel begins to bubble. (Cover loosely with foil if top browns too quickly.) Cool for 5 minutes before flipping over onto a serving plate. Cool for another 5-10 minutes. Drizzle with the remaining caramel sauce and pecans. Serve warm.

All you Need for Ladies Night Pampering

There is nothing like "Ladies Night" or "Girls Night Out" or even "Girls Night In" whatever you want to call it, and whether it is spent in or out when you get all your favorite gals together there is always a good time to be had! Am I right?

I try not to let too much time go by without some quality time spent with my favorite girl friends. Although it is hard to plan sometimes, it is always worth it. The laughs and the fun times linger in my mind for days after.

REMBRANDT yes the oral care company wants us gals to remember just how important girls night is, and encourages us to join them in celebrating with a day called tHERSday. I am pretty sure they made the name up, but it is clever and I like it! It is a day where we gather the girls and pamper ourselves, go out on the town or have an indoor movie night! One thing that a ladies night should never forget, is a little pampering. So put on your favorite outfit, grab your cocktail and treat you and your friends to a much needed pamper! Homemade Dog Treats for the Holidays

Last night was a Christmas Cookie Extravaganza! But this wasnt a typical Christmas cookie event, this time it was for the dogs! Thats right, instead of the normal Cathedral Windows Cookies, Sugar Cookies and Snickerdoodles we were baking up some Pupolicious Original Cookies.

We had all of our gifts ready and set for our friends and family, but we had forgotten one family members friends! Our dog Daisy was getting a few things in her stocking but what about her little dog friends too? Why not give them a little something this Christmas! While dog toys and store bought treats are great, we decided to do something extra special and made some dog treats at home!

It was a family affair in the kitchen Daisy helping with all the scraps that we dropped of course! What a fun night we had of mixing, blending, rolling, baking and decorating! After everything was dry we bagged them up and put little Christmas gift tags on them for her pup friends! Here is our dog treat making night:

The ingredients include moisture, protein, fat, and fiber. (Whole wheat flour, brewers yeast, non-fat dry milk, corn starch and guar gum.) There is no added sugar, no preservatives just safe, wholesome ingredients.

Mix the treat ingredients together with a little vegetable oil and lukewarm water. it gets pretty tough kind of like any dough (pizza, bread). Then roll it out and cut it into treat shapes with your favorite cookie cutter. This Holiday Package from Pupolicious came with a cute tree cookie cutter so I used that one!

The cookie cutter tree was a perfect size for dog treats during Christmas time. After cutting them all out, I placed them on a baking sheet to toast in the oven for 30-35 minutes. They turned out crispy just like a dog treat from the store!

After the dog treats had cooled, I decorated them with the provided icing mix. All I needed was to add water. The icing dried to the dog treats overnight and then we packaged them up in baggies with gift tags, to give out to all of our dogs doggie friends. (I know cheesy, but cute, right?)

Pupolicious dog treats are a fun activity that is rewarding too! The treats are safe for dogs and humans alike! We actually did taste them, and they just taste like a wheat-y cracker. Still, I think my pup enjoys them more than we do.
While this recipe does have wheat in it, they are also coming up with a wheat-free version for the pups who are allergic or sensitive to wheat! Be on the lookout for that!

Stop Madware on Your Android Phone

Just last month I got the new Samsung Galaxy SIII smartphone. It replaced an outdated version of the phone, that I didnt realize was outdated until I got the new one! Wow, what a difference! I never knew I could love a phone this much!

Since I am basically obsessed with my new Android, I want to make sure I am protecting it in everyway that I can. This includes getting a good case for it, a screen protector and not getting any madware! Did you know you can get nasty madware (similar to viruses) on your phone?

Sure enough after some research, I found that you can in fact download some nasty stuff madware (mobile adware) that uses aggressive techniques to place advertising on your phone. Madware gains access to personal information, location, and delivers advertising based on your preferences. Even if Google Play has an App in their store and it looks safe, it can still have madware (the percent of Apps with madware has grown 210% in the last 9 months!). Some common Apps like Angry Birds, Sams Club and Flashlight have madware!

I learned about Madware the long way. After downloading App after App of shopping, weather, social media and more, I thought to myself, "I wonder if there are repercussions to downloading all these apps?" After downloading 30 applications later, I realized I probably should be inspecting some of these Apps first for madware.

But how do I keep my Android phone safe from madware?

I dont want instills fear in you without giving you a good solution so here is your solution to madware Norton Spot. If you are an android person (madware only affect Android phones), you can download yet another app but an App with superman protection! Yes, I know, photo editing apps frequent this list a lot lately, but hey! They're quite popular and there have been some big ones lately. Snapseed from Nik Software gives you plenty of tools and filters to make you a mobile life capturing artist. The selling point here is the ease of use and streamlined interface. You can selectively adjust different objects or areas of a photo, add borders, throw some fun depth of field effects in, and share everything with your favorite social networks with a simple touch.

Twitter update (Free)

Speaking of photo editing on the go, the latest Twitter update lets you make some basic tweaks and edits to your photos as well, turning the app into something of an alternative Instagram. It still keeps all the other beloved Twitter features, but adds the ability to share and edit photos through a feature called TwitPic. This is all due to a bit of break-up between Instagram and Twitter, Instagram being married (read: owned by) Facebook and whatnot. You can even add the widget directly to your lock screen, saving you precious seconds of hassle. If you still buy music rather than stream it, here is your app.

Viddy is kind of hard to describe. It's a video editor, but not in the way any filmmaker would find useful. Essentially, it's the Instagram or Snapseed of the video world, letting you capture moments and artsify them up with color correction, retro filters, and what have you. You can only capture short segments of video, but you can also add some popular songs to them to create a mood, and of course, share your creations with social media. This isn't meant as a serious editing app, but more as just a fun aside. The app is a bit lackluster technically, however, with a few too many bugs and glitches.

The app works by dividing your devices screen in half, and is meant to be used when you set your phone or tablet down on a table between you and the person to whom you want to speak. The app catches words from both speakers and outputs them on the screen so you can make sure theyre correct, then translates them from one language to the other and playing a voice recording of the sentence in the other language. Its like having a third person there to interpret. Just keep in mind that Vocre is still in active development, so it might not be 100-percent perfect yet, according to its developers.

Whos it for? If having a personal translator would be a big help in your life, give Vocre a try and see if it can meet your needs.

Yahoo! Mail update (Free)

Whats it about? The email app for the web service provided by Yahoo! has just gotten a big overhaul, and a rebrand to Y! Mail.

Whats cool? Yahoo! has done a lot of work to its email app, and it only just starts with renaming it Y! Mail. The app now includes an all-new user interface (just in time to sync up with a design change for the web-based version), improved push notifications, pull-to-refresh capabilities and more. It also has all the benefits of Yahoo! Mail, including the ability to sync with your web-based inbox and contacts, autocomplete features for email addresses, a photo-preview feature and the ability to access multiple Yahoo! Mail accounts from the app at a time.

Whos it for? Email users whose primary mode of mailing is Yahoo! will find a lot of useful features in the new Y! Mail app.

Whats it like? There are lots of web-based email apps and clients: Try Googles version, Gmail, and the Microsoft-owned Hotmail for alternatives.

Grand Theft Auto: Vice City ($4.99)

Whats it about? One of the best-loved games of the Playstation 2 era hits Android, in all its car-stealing, violent and profane glory.

Whats cool? Its the 10th anniversary of Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, the follow-up to the controversial and game-changing GTA III that takes place in the Miami-like tropical crime den of Vice City. The game stars a character voiced by actor Ray Liotta and some series highlights, like the introduction of motorcycles as a driveable vehicle. Players can experience the Vice City story all over again, and engage in all the well-known GTA exploits, like car theft, solicitation of prostitution, and firing rockets at police helicopters. Video game fans wont want to miss this classic.

Whos it for? If you ever loved Grand Theft Auto, or just want a solid (but not for young kids) gaming experience, Vice City is a must-have.

Panasonic Jetforce Vacuum Review HolidayGift

Pine needles from the tree are scattered around the house. Not just in the living room. Ive found them in my guest room, the master bedroom and even on our bed. Of course there is no doubt, our dog helps in spreading the pine needles across these surfaces. Pine needles are just one of my many floor nuisances during the holidays. Ive also got to worry about crumbs, dust, dirt, and massive amounts of dog hair.

With all of the gunk that are lurking in my carpet, I rely heavily on a good vacuum. Vacuuming my entire home at least weekly is not a chore, it is more like a routine. I find comfort in seeing my floor go from dirty to clean. I get excited seeing how much icky-stuff fills up in the vacuums bagless see-through container. It is rewarding for me. Of course, it helps to have a powerful vacuum. Without a good vacuum, there would be little reward.

With the Panasonic Jetforce Vacuum MC-UL427 I see results immediately. It works wonders at sucking up messes on both the carpet and the hard wood floor. And if I want to clean up dog hairs and unknown substances on the couch? The quickdraw tool works for that! This is one quality vacuum cleaner.

Panasonic, which I never have thought of as a vacuum maker, really outdid themselves. So much for thinking of them only as TVs and electronics. They have designed a vacuum that has everything! At only 15lbs, it is (as of April 2012) the lightest in the North American market! It only takes one hand for me to lift it up and down the stairs in my home!

Okay and sadly I thought I had a good vacuum before. I honestly did. Until I realized just how much it was missing.. that the Panasonic was picking up! I would vacuum with my standard vacuum and then trace my steps with the Panasonic, and sure enough the dirt and hair would fill into the bagless container, like I hadnt vacuumed before at all! I couldnt believe it.

I swear to you I vacuumed once a week (at least) yet this is what the Panasonic came up with after making a round through my entire upstairs (about 1200 sq. ft.). I was impressed and disgusted at the same time! Thank goodness we dont have dust allergies!

The Panasonic has thrilled me. This vacuum went above and beyond and over-achieved all the expectations I had for it. While I dont totally understand all the details of how its magic works (HEPA filter, 12 AMPS motor, etc.) I will say whatever they have done to make this vacuum what it is, really works well. The success of this vacuum brings me great joy with each and every container of gunk I have to empty. Here are some of the features of the vacuum that almost anyone would appreciate:

• Quick hardwood to carpet transition
• Multiple tools and attachments

I gotta tell you, one other thing I love is that it is easy to remove clogs since you can see where they are in the clear hose. If you stretch the hose out it becomes more and more transparent allowing you to see if there is a clog. I am enamored by the see-through bagless dust container too. This is handy for seeing when it is full and seeing what you pick up. You never know when you will vacuum up a necklace (done it) or a shoelace (done it). Not only that, you can see which rooms really pick up the dirt that way you can spend more time focusing on these locations.

If I could make two improvements to the vacuum they would be a little bit better maneuvering quality and an easier way to dump out the dirt container. While I found the quick release of the dust bin is easy to use, and the bottom dirt comes out fast and easy, the top dirt sticks in the container. In order to get the top dirt out, I needed to grab the excess stuff at the top with my hand. It did not come out from shaking it over the trash alone.

Other than that, the Panasonic JetForce Vacuum works wonders on my homes multiple floor surfaces! It has been keeping my home clean for a few weeks now and been a gem to help me quickly clean up before guest and holiday parties. I love my Panasonic Jetforce Vacuum and highly recommend it for the homeowner or apartment dweller. It is lightweight, powerful and gets the job done!
